Lead in drinking water - In the new EU Drinking Water Directive, which entered into force last year, the parametric value for lead was reduced by half compared to many current national regulations.
For copper materials in particular, this will have a major impact on their future usability in drinking water products.
Although many aspects are still unclarified at this point, affected companies should already closely monitor further developments.
