The association "Verband der Deutschen Gasdruck-Regelgeräte- und Gaszähler-Industrie e.V". has been representing the interests of manufacturers of components and systems for public gas supply for over 60 years.

The VDDW has represented the manufacturers of water and heat meters in Germany since 1953.

VHB e.V.
Since 1966, the VHB has represented the interests of companies that manufacture or sell measuring and control equipment for gas appliances and oil firing systems, central oil supply systems and directly heated ventilation systems.
Association structures "Close-to-the-market"
figawa is subdivided into three sections: gas, water and pipes. The assigned sector groups reflect the relevant product groups and service and construction areas of the companies in the gas and water sector. The members of figawa represent the entire value chain through this working structure: From generation, storage and transport, metering and control to application.
The sector groups are managed either as independent figawa committees or jointly or in representation with corporated associations.
Platform for plant construction companies for all gaseous energy sources such as fossil natural gas, renewable biogas and synthesis gases, hydrogen, liquid LNG and LBG in production, storage and distribution.

The work of the group is characterised by close cooperation with the Piping Systems and Accessories Division. Members are involved in the various standardization and regulatory works, for the definition of requirements and test specifications in DVGW, DIN and CEN/CENELEC.
The group is currently inactive.
The group Wastewater transport represents the interests of manufacturers of sewers, pipes and fittings used in the waste water sector. Initiatives to support selected processes (e.g. pipe jacking initiative) are just as much a part of the work spectrum as the collaboration on guidelines for quality assurance.
