Figawa positions itself as a stakeholder in the hydrogen sector on the European level. By signing the declaration of the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance (ECH2A) figawa supports its goal: "Kick-starting the EU hydrogen industry to archieve the EU Climate Goals".
In line with the vision of the European Hydrogen Strategy, ECH2A is committed to expanding renewable and low carbon hydrogen production, distribution and use by 2030. The introduction of renewable and low carbon hydrogen production and use is to be promoted in order to create a sustainable and competitive industrial hydrogen ecosystem in the EU. With this alliance the EU wants to promote climate neutrality in the EU by 2050.
Companies, research institutions, associations, public authorities, civil society organizations and financial institutions from various sectors along the hydrogen value chain are among the signatories of the Declaration, which was published in Brussels on July 8, 2020.
figawa will play an active role in the alliance in order to support an ambitious development of hydrogen technologies until 2030, from renewable and low carbon production, the H2 demand of industry, the mobility sector, the heating sector, etc. to the transport and distribution of hydrogen.
